This 1/2" MPT x 1/4" Plastic Hose Barb valve is designed to protect pumps from overheating and features a cap design to allow you to divert the flow as desired. Crafted of brass and plastic with a 145°F temperature limit and 125 psi maximum pressure, it may be the smallest thermal valve on the market but it's big in cost-effectiveness and reliability.
When installing any fittings and accessories, we always recommend wrapping threads with teflon tape or liquid threadlocker to get a secure fit and prevent any leaks.
